Warm up and race briefing 10.10am

Race start 10.30am

Shelford Fun Run is a fast and flat 5k on closed roads through the beautiful Shelford villages of South Cambridgeshire. Starting and finishing on Great Shelford Recreation ground, this event welcomes all levels of runners and is a fun, family friendly event. There will be a staggered start to allow for social distancing and for faster runners to get away. The event is chip timed and times are uploaded to the Power of 10 website. A water station will be available at 3k. There will be a virtual goodie bag for all entrants supported by our event sponsors

The event is raising money for Great Shelford Playscape. This year’s funds will go towards building the ‘wheelscape’ phase of the project.

No dogs or scooters

Due to Covid 19 restrictions it is likely that the race will have a staggered start (chip timing means your time will not be affected). It is unlikely that we will be able to register runners on the day of the race due to social distancing, therefore we are encouraging all runners to register ahead online for this event. As well as a live event there will be a virtual option too, run/ walk 5k your way between July 20th and September 26th. So if you can’t make it on the day, don’t worry you can still participate.

In the unlikely event that the race is cancelled places can be deferred for free to Shelford Fun Run
2022. Refunds can be processed but will incur a 90p charge.
