Run4Colour looks forward to welcoming hundreds of runners of all abilities and ages to the Hockwold Hall Estate, to run a Colour Run 5K, where you will run the most fun 5K you’ve ever taken part in!

Taking place on Sunday 5th June 2022 and organised by Good Running Events, Run4Colour is a non profit Colour Run, where all proceeds are donated to Asthma UK. With a start and finish within the Hockwold Hall estate, the event boasts a super scenic trail route around the grounds of a former Royal residence. Don't miss it!

Registration Open: 10.00am

Event Start: 11:00am

Colour Throw: 12:15pm (after final finisher)

Age limits -
4 years or older - all under 16s to be accompanied by an adult.

All runners will be started in one wave – beginning at 11.00AM. Once the last finisher has crossed the finish line, the large colour throw will begin (approx. 12.10PM) where all finishers are encouraged to remain and attend.

A bespoke medal, t shirt and finisher goodies bag will be available to all runners. This event is manually chip timed, so please ensure your bib number is on display at all times.

Trophies are awarded to the winning male and female.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the route, no pets, wheelchairs or prams are able to be used within the race.

The Event Village will be open from 10:00am. Further details regarding race packs will be made available nearer the event, and you will need to line up in the queue designated by your surname, and as directed by signage on arrival. Runners MUST write their name, any medical condition, emergency contact name and contact number on reverse of their race number where requested.

The course is mainly on the trails through and surrounding the estate. The race route follows trails which are slightly undulating and elevation varies in some places – but is flat on the whole. Please follow all signage and Marshal’s directions at all times and keep to the left unless instructed otherwise.

There is no time limit on this event.

Medical teams will be present onsite - if you feel pain, experience dizziness or any other symptoms immediately stop running and seek help from a marshal, who can radio through for medical assistance.

There will be at 1 water stations out on the course. Run4Colour is a sustainable plastic free event - so please bring refillable bottles where possible, and we can refill these at the designated water stations on route.

Bone conducting headphones are permitted – so long as you can still hear marshal instructions clearly.

Appropriate footwear should be worn. All of the race route is based on trail.

Unfortunately, refunds are not available, but if you are unable to run on the day, transfers are available on the website until 23:59 on 28th May 2022. After this date, PLEASE DO NOT pass your race number to someone else. If this is identified, both the runner and ‘new runner’ will be disqualified, banned from future races and referred to the permit regulators.

Ample parking is available at the Hockwold Hall Estate, based just off Station Road in Hockwold. Use IP26 4HZ for your sat navs – entrance is at what3words location //////repelled.trappings.pickles
