Thank you for your interest in taking part in the Duxford Dash 2024, due to operational reasons we are unable to allow further entries for this year. We very much appreciate your support and hope you’ll race with us as future Dashers.

 

Challenge yourself, friends, or family on Sunday 20th October to run the Duxford Dash 5k, 10k or 1 Mile Family race at the airfield where history was made.

Organised by Imperial War Museums and our race event partner Good Running Events, Duxford Dash is a popular race in the East of England calendar with thousands of runners already earning their finishers medal and joining the ranks of Runway Racer.

General Event Information

Before you book

Please read about our requirements for the race and more information about your ticket prices:

• For 2024, please book a 1 Mile Family Dash ticket per child or adult chaperone intending to run. 
• Children aged 4 and under run for free. Please book a ticket for each 1 Mile Family Dash entrant.
• All child runners will need an adult chaperone to take part. 
• If you are a runner or disabled athlete with a 5k or 10k race place, your registration includes individual entry to chaperone the 1 Mile Family Dash. 
• Bring a friend and save on 5k individual race entry prices with our 5k group of 2 offer. Price includes Total Race Timing booking booking fee.
• Buddy up with friends or your running group to bring a group of 4 and save on 10k race entry individual entry prices. Price includes Total Race Timing booking fee.
• Spectator tickets do not incur a Total Race Timing booking fee but can only be purchased when you book your race place.
• Children aged 4 and under go free. Spectator tickets do not incur a booking fee but can only be purchased when you book your race place.
• Disabled athletes are welcome to bring a personal assistant free of charge. To secure your free carer ticket, or if your party requires more than one personal assistant ticket, please email info@goodrunningevents.co.uk. Please be aware that we may ask for proof of eligibility.
• Duxford Dash t-shirts do not incur a Total Race Timing booking fee. Pre-purchase for collection on the day.
• Parking at the event is free. You do not require a parking permit to enter the event parking area.

On the day 

• Our address for Satnav is IWM Duxford, Cambridgeshire, CB22 4QR. 
• Duxford Dash is a busy event with spaces reaching capacity. Please plan to arrive early for any traffic or to get yourself 'race ready'.
• Your tickets include entry to IWM Duxford, but all additional spectator tickets can only be purchased when you book your entry. You can book additional museum entry tickets at our standard day-out prices if later required. 

Filming and photography

Filming and photography will be in action across the site at the event, recording images that will be kept on file and used for publicity purposes. To find out more about how we use our images please ask our staff on the day or contact us at contact@iwm.org.uk. IWM photography and filming staff will be clearly identifiable in IWM Duxford branded t-shirts or high vis jackets.

Entries are non-refundable and unfortunately cannot be deferred but transfers to another runner are available until midnight on 13/10/2024. Login to transfer your entry.
