We are thrilled to announce the 2025 Dereham Runners AC 10 mile road race, held at Neatherd High School, Dereham. This year, we are especially excited to host the Norfolk County Championship Race over the 10 mile distance as part of the event. Addtionally, the race is included in the popular Sportlink Grand Prix Series, making it the fifth race in the race series. As always, the event is expe cted to sell our quickly.
The race is held under England Athletics Rules of Competition (permit 2024-46402) and has been officially measured at 10 miles using the shortest race line along the course (Certificate of Course Accuracy 17/095).

Race Date: Sunday 11th May 2024
Race Start time: 9:30am
Entry Fees: £19.00 for affiliated runners, £21.00 for unaffiliated. Minimum age: 17 years on race day.

Parking: Parking will be available at Race HQ (Dereham Neatherd High School). Please allow plenty of time to park, pick up your race number and be at the start line on time.
Bag drop : Please note – there will be no bag drop at the race. Please therefore only bring/wear what you will be carrying during the race. We take no responsibility for belongings left at Race HQ or in your vehicles.
Refreshments : Tea and coffee will be available at Race HQ served by the members of Dereham Runners AC plus cakes sold for our chosen charity.
Toilets : Toilets will be available at race HQ but there will be no showers available
Official Timing: Yes, official times will be provided by our timing company and can count toward your PB.
Headphones: No headphones (including bone-conducting) are allowed. Any runners found wearing them will be disqualified in accordance with England Athletics rules.
Race Prizes: Race Medals to all finishers

Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd M/F, Senior, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Winners of overall prizes cannot also win age group prize.
Presentations will take place as soon as official results are confirmed. Runners who cannot collect their prizes on the day must make alternative arrangements.
County Qualification: This is a Norfolk County Road Race Championship event. You must declare if you hold a county qualification upon entering the race. If you enter a false declaration, you may be excluded from both the race and county results.
County Trophies: Perpetual trophies will be given to the host club by the series administrator prior to the event and are to be presented on the day to the male and female county champions.
