The Great Yarmouth Promenade 5 Mile Series - Race 3

Location: Great Yarmouth

This is a completely flat, pb potential, traffic free route on Great Yarmouth Promenade.

Race HQ will be at the Marina Centre leisure centre on Marine parade in Great Yarmouth NR30 2ER. The start and finish area is near the sealife centre and only a couple of minute walk from HQ!

Toilet facilities will be available too. 

As this race is in the evening there are no parking charges on the road after 6pm and there are ample car parks along the sea front if you prefer to park in there. 

There will be a section where you can leave your bag within the sports hall but this will be unmanned and left at your own discretion. The leisure centre do have lockers available if required.

An update on car parks, toilets and locker fees will be within the race info you will receive before the day.

All finishers will receive a medal- you will see the return of the interlocking medals for 2025!! Collect the 3 segments to make a full collection!

There will be a presentation of awards on the day for the winners of the race and age categories.

Although traffic free this route crosses car parks and uses the Landau that cyclists and pedestrians also use so please no headphones (including bone conducting) as you need to listen out for these and marshal instructions. Anyone found to be wearing them will be disqualified from the race results. You also don't want to miss our fantastic race atmosphere our marshals produce.

50p from each entry will go to Norfolk Lowland search and rescue. 

Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue are run by volunteers. We claim NO expenses and receive No government funding.

As a registered charity, we are entirely funded by donations, our sponsors and charitable grants.

All donations help ensure kit can be provided and assets including vehicles, boats and specialised equipment are maintained. This helps us to continue to search for missing people in all weathers, at any time, day or night.
