Lowland Rescue Cawston 5 Mile Trail Race

New for 2026

Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue are excited to announce a brand new venture for us.

A 5 mile trail race around the scenic Cawston Park estate, raising funds to help us in our valuable work, finding vulnerable missing people throughout Norfolk.

About us:

From hill to high water, Lowland Search and Rescue fills the gap between Mountain Rescue Teams and HM Coast Guard.

Formed in 1999, our team in Norfolk work with the Police and other Emergency Services to assist with the search for vulnerable missing persons throughout the county.

We are a 100% voluntary charity, on call 24hrs a day, 365 days a year. Each of our trained search team members are totally committed to finding missing people and making a difference.

Being a totally voluntary organisation it means that every penny we raise goes directly into searching for those who go missing.

To find out more about us, and what we do, go to our website https://norlsar.org.uk

Fundraising:

We have a Just giving page justgiving.com/campaign/lowlandtrailrace  and would ask you to consider being sponsored to take part in the event to help us raise further funds.

For every £25 you raise, your funds will purchase a canine first aid kit for one of our search dog team. For every £50 we can maintain and service a life jacket to keep our water team safe.  £100 provides our incident command unit with a tank of fuel to get to a search location and run a missing person search.

Anything you can raise will make a real difference to the charity, the people  we search for and their families.
