Trowse 10k Mother's Day race. 

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a challenge that’s as meaningful as it is memorable. The classic Trowse 10K returns—same beloved route, same fantastic atmosphere—but this year, with a special twist to honour the incredible women in our lives.

Whether you’re a mother looking for an exciting new challenge, running side-by-side with your mum, or taking part in memory of a mother you’ve lost, this event is designed to bring people together through movement, community, and shared purpose.

In the months leading up to race day, we invite beginner runners who have signed up for the Trowse 10k to join the City of Norwich training sessions. Come learn, train, and connect with others who are gearing up for the big day. This will be limited to 20 runners who will be looking for a sub 80 minute 10k.  Our supportive club community will help you feel confident, prepared, and part of something bigger than a race.

This year, you have a choice: grab a finisher’s medal or choose to donate to Home Start, a fantastic local charity that supports families with children under five.

Lace up, show up, and make this Mother’s Day one to remember.

Prizes for the overall first, second and third male and female and age category winners. 

This 10k road race is based at the Norfolk Snowsports Club in Whitlingham Lane, Trowse, on the southern outskirts of Norwich. 

Competitors run beside Whitlingham Broad before following a two-lap route along quiet roads through the heart of Trowse and close to Whitlingham Hall.-

This race has become a very popular event with beautiful scenery and great viewing opportunities for supporters and spectators.
