The 5 Mile Series is back for 2026! We have frozen our prices so no increase this year!

• Minimum age: 15 years on race day
• Transfers available until 08/04/2026
• Refunds/deferrals are not available

Venue & Parking

• Race HQ: Marina Centre, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2ER
• Parking: As this race is in the evening there are no parking charges on the road after 6pm and there are ample car parks along the sea front if you prefer to park in there. 

Facilities

• Toilet facilities are available 
• The start and finish area is near the sealife centre and only a couple of minute walk from HQ!
• There will be a section where you can leave your bag within the sports hall but this will be unmanned and left at your own discretion. The leisure centre do have lockers available if required.

Timing & Safety

• Chip timing provided by Total Race Timing
• All runners must write their name, emergency contact, and medical details on the back of their number
• Headphones are not permitted (including bone-conduction) in line with England Athletics rules
• Course: 5 miles on a completely flat, pb potential, traffic free route on Great Yarmouth Promenade. Fully marshalled and signposted
• The course is not suitable for wheelchairs, buggies, or pets

Prizes

All finishers will receive a medal- you will see the return of the interlocking medals for 2026! Collect the 3 parts to make a full collection!

• Trophies for the top 2 male and female finishers
• Age category awards for the top 2 male and female runners in each age category 
• Team prizes (3 runners per team) for senior and vets male and female

Medical Support

• Medical support provided by MedPTS
