Norfolk Gazelles are delighted to bring back the Alex Moore Festival of Running for its second year—an exciting combination of two much‑loved events, the Alex Moore Relay and The Big Stampede, now united into one vibrant celebration of running!
Last year saw a fantastic launch at Norfolk Showground, building on the heritage of the Alex Moore Relay, which enjoyed many memorable years at the Goat Inn in Skeyton. With growing participant numbers and the wish for a more weather‑reliable venue, merging both races proved the perfect solution.
Returning on 31 May 2026, this festival blends everything runners loved about the original races—community spirit, friendly competition, fast courses, and a brilliant atmosphere—now with even more space, better facilities, and a buzzing event village. Whether you’re chasing a PB, taking on a team challenge, or cheering from the sidelines, this is a race day you won’t want to miss.
