Date: 28/02/2027

Location: Southwold

Website: link

A stunning Half Marathon in one of the most charming seaside locations in the UK.

Enjoy some of the most breath-taking views and surroundings as you run around Southwold and neighbouring Walberswick. The race starts and finishes on Southwold promenade.

Race Entry: £41 + booking fee. All entries include chip-timing and a bespoke race medal.

Charity Entry: The Terms & Conditions of the charity places are as follows:

  • You agree to fundraise a minimum of £150 for EPIC Norfolk’s Dementia Campaign (we will be in contact with details of how to fundraise for us).
  • You agree to provide 1 volunteer to marshal at the Southwold Half Marathon (volunteer roles will be allocated nearer the time – we’ll need the name and contact details of the volunteer at least a month before the race).
  • We will refund your entry fee once you have fundraised £150 for EPIC Norfolk.
  • If you fail to fundraise at least £150 or unable to provide a volunteer, your entry will be removed and you will not be able to take part on the day (this is so people don’t select a charity entry without the intentions of fundraising and/or providing a volunteer).
  • Charity Entries cannot be deferred to another event, nor transferred to another runner.

Race T-shirts: When entering, you can purchase an Official Race T-shirt as an add-on for just £17.

This route is multi-terrain with a combination of road, adopted road and hard wearing tracks. Therefore, it is not affiliated with UK Athletics, although it will still follow their guidelines. Some of the route may be uneven and narrow in places, so be vigilant when running.

Cut-off time: This race will have a cut-off time of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Race Car Parking: The official race car parking will be based as Old Hall Cafe & Walks. We will be providing a free shuttle bus service to and from the start/finish for racegoers and spectators. There will be no additional car parking fees at the official race car park.

With limited places, this event will sell out very fast, so don't miss out being part of it.

You can see the full route here: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/6260457001/. It's a one-loop course apart from 2km of it (Southwold Harbour and Ferry Road), which are completed twice.

In the event that this race is postponed to another date due to unforeseen circumstances such as the weather, natural disasters etc, your entry will automatically be moved to the new date or you will have the option to transfer your place or complete it virtually.

In the event that this race is cancelled (and not postponed to a new date), you will be automatically deferred to next year’s race or you can request a refund before the deadline date, which will only be set in the event of a cancellation of this race.

Entries are non-refundable and unfortunately cannot be deferred but transfers to another runner are available until midnight on 12/02/2027. Login to transfer your entry.
